Day 2 in Rome

On the second day of Rome we headed to the Vatican Museum.  Once again we got really lucky and only waited in line about 20 minutes before getting in.  We walked through that, saw the Sistine Chapel, ate lunch and headed to the main square and St. Peter’s Basilica.

Once again, we got very lucky and only waited about 5 minutes to get into the Basilica.  When we came out, the line was wrapped all the way around the square.  We went back to the apartment, rested for a bit, got dinner and went back out for a nightly walk.
