Dan and I arrived in Italy on April 6th, 2010 and a few weeks after we arrived we visited Venice. I am posting this now because I didn’t have a blog back then to post it
When we first got into Venice we got on the water taxi and took that to the main Square in Venice. These are some pictures that were taken while on the boat.

Since this first trip to Venice we have been back there around 6 other times. It’s so big and there is so much to see and so many shops! It’s a quick hop on the train and only an hour away, it’s always a great place to go when you have nothing else going on and want to get out and do something. There are small islands around Venice that you can visit by ferry, we haven’t done that yet, but hope to soon. I will also post some other pictures of places we visited before I got the blog started.
