All Settled in!

I know, another few months…what can I say..I’m a slacker. 

Dan and I arrived in Albuquerque, NM on April 17th after visiting out family in Florida for a little bit.  It was great seeing family and friends that I haven’t seen in years. 

When we got here we stayed on base in TLF for a month and hit the ground running looking for a house. We decided to buy since we are going to be here a while and it’s time to start investing in something.  We had a great realtor, which I’ve been in contact with even when we were in Italy, he’s been wonderful and still calls and texts me to this day to make sure things are well. 

We found a house and moved in on May 16th. The whole house needed painted, our realtor had a contact for that, he did the whole house, ceilings, baseboards and all in a week and a half.  He started before closing, the seller was really nice about letting us do this and he finished a few days before our stuff arrived from Italy. It looks great, he did a great job. 

This move only took us 2 days to get settled and on day 3 we had stuff hung already, the house looks great and came together really nicely.  I haven’t taken pics yet, but I will and post them on another blog.
