The base puts on ITT trips, which you just pay and they take you to that location. It’s nice if you don’t want to drive yourself, or wouldn’t be able to experience it otherwise. I have done many ITT trips including Innsbruck, Austria and Salzburg Austria Christmas markets, Florence, Rome, Cinque Terre and most recently Croatia by boat and the French Riviera. It’s nice when visitors come and since I don’t care to drive in busy cities, ITT always seems like the way to go.
We met on base around 0415 to leave at 0430 early on a Saturday morning. The bus took us to our drop off point in Croatia where we got on a boat, made about 4 other stops to pick up more people, then went cruising along the coast of Croatia. It was beautiful to see from the water looking in on the coast. Dan and I went to Croatia not too long ago and explored the Istria region on land, which is the coast we were boating on for this trip. When we got to Rovinj, they fed us lunch then pulled up to the dock to let us off to explore for a few hours, then took us to another town called Vrsar where we got more time on our own, with the last stop being in Porec, where we got even more time on our own before heading back to the bus. The boat crew was pretty amazing, super nice, it was a very relaxing trip. Now for some pictures!

Ciao for now, Rovinj!

Crew from the boat holding the sign upside of when to return. He was doing this on purpose, then acted like he didn’t know what people were telling him. So funny!

Gelato throwing shop! They throw scoops of Gelato (pretty far too) and have people catch it in their mouth!
One of the stops to let people off on the way back to Porec.
It was a great trip, Laura and I had a good time. Would definitely go again!
Love your pics!
